Re-Elect State Representative Steve Humphrey for House District 48
I’m Steve Humphrey and I am running for re-election to represent you in the Colorado House of Representatives.
For the past six years you trusted me to fight for Weld County’s conservative values in Denver. That’s been no easy task!
Over and over, we’ve seen Left-wing liberals from Denver and Boulder impose their radical agenda on all of Colorado.
With their oppressive oil and gas regulations, far left social agenda, and constant crusade against our right to keep-and-bear-arms, they’ve not only done tremendous economic harm, they’ve led an all-out assault on our Colorado way of life. They’ve been working to impose their will with higher taxes, big government, identity politics, entitlements for illegal immigrants, more and more gun control, denying free exercise of religion, common core, government run healthcare in Colorado, and just more and more regulatory burdens our businesses and agriculture.
I fought, opposed, and voted against each and every one of these bad bills. …And I’ve had some real success in the last two years, with substantive bills passed reforming civil asset forfeiture law and ending campus “free speech zones” along the Senator Neville. Sorry… the Governor actually vetoed my bill to stop red light camera abuse in Colorado (follow the $$). Oh, and Rep. Tim Leonard and I kept “God” in the Colorado oaths of office, despite democrat schemes to remove the “offensive” reference.
I consistently supported and promoted principles of liberty, small government, low taxes, and less regulation on you, your business, and your family.
And that’s the way I voted — each and every time.
But the challenges facing our community, our state and our nation are too great to pack up and go home.
There is much work to be done to reverse the damage that the radical Liberals imposed on us during the last six years.
That’s why I hope I can count on your support.
Will you join me once again in this critical fight?
I hope I can count on your support.
Thank you, and God Bless.
